I just wanted to share my experience going through low dose radiotherapy for my knees, elbow, wrist, thumb and finger. I had been having a lot of pain in those areas. I went through the treatment in March and April of 2025 and am extremely happy that I did. I have been mostly pain free in all those joints since that time. This includes hiking with our kids (who are in their twenties) up in the Mt Baker area on trails with 1500-2500 ft of elevation gain (which means you have to come down that same altitude!). I have been able to do this with little to no pain in my arthritic knees.I just turned 70 and am very grateful for how this has helped in my physical wellbeing!Posted on Google![]()

I’m 81 and when I woke up with idiopathic wrist pain (I cant recall having done anything that provoked it) I went to my GP, who ordered xrays that were inconclusive. Three months of PT did little or nothing to alleviate the pain, which started in the palm of my right hand, radiating around to the wrist and, at it’s worst went up my forearm all the way to my shoulder. During these periodic episodes I had to take an oxycodone pill and lie down for three or more hours. I couldn’t even hold a toothbrush. Finally, my GP said that she had heard that North Cascade Center was having some good results with low dose radiation therapy. Radiation for wrist pain? It sounded like witchcraft, but having tried everything else I was ready to try anything. It worked! After six weekly treatments (each one lasting no more than a few minutes I have been pain free for six months now with no recurrence of the occasional episodes that knocked me out before treatment.Posted on Google![]()

I have been evaluated and treated for osteoarthritis of my foot. Dr Taylor is knowledgeable and thorough and took time to listen and explain everything. Both he and Dr Hall are pleasant and helpful providers. All the front office and radiology staff have been caring and very friendly! I highly recommend the North Cascades Cancer Center and have told my friends about them.Posted on Google![]()

I recently completed a 38-session radiation treatment program for prostate cancer, and I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Polishchuk and his team for the exceptional care and support they provided throughout the process. From start to finish, they were professional, compassionate, and attentive to my needs. Their kindness and encouragement helped make a challenging and stressful chapter of my life much more manageable. I truly could not have asked for better care, and I wholeheartedly recommend the North Cascade Cancer Center.Posted on Google![]()

The staff and doctors at NCCC were all wonderful, kind, and supportive! Dr Hall took his time explaining things to me — how the radiation would work, the current standard of care, and any possible side effects to expect. He answered all my questions, and was never dismissive of my concerns or preferences. And the radiologic staff were amazing! Professional and competent, yes — but especially kind and respectful and friendly! They made a potentially scary procedure as comfortable and easy as possible. I really hope never to have cancer again — but if I did I would not hesitate to return here. Good people!Posted on Google![]()
